Roxy Guide: Bleed Pressure, Rotation, and Teams

Learn how Roxy creates safe Bleed pressure from a line, keeps a useful lane with movement, and hands DragonSword: Awakening targets to a reactive teammate.

Quick answer

Best for players who want safe Bleed setup without standing still. Roxy lines up a target, plants Bleed from range with Bloody Shower or Crimson Spiral, then moves early so a teammate can use the next reactive opening.

Who should play Roxy

Pick Roxy if you like seeing the lane before you commit. Her value is not staying in place to chase a damage chart; it is making a safe line, keeping the target inside it, and leaving enough room for the next hero to react.

She is less comfortable for a player who wants a permanent turret. Roxy gets more from a clear route through an encounter than from walking forward until a target forces her into point-blank danger.

Quick playstyle

Start from an angle that lets Roxy see the target and her exit. Use Bloody Shower or Crimson Spiral to seed Bleed through that lane, then move before the target can collapse the space. When a Bleed or Stun reaction is ready, tag to the hero that can use it and return only to refresh the pressure.

Roxy is strongest when the team treats her line as a setup. If the target has left the lane or the next reaction is not ready, reset the angle rather than forcing more shots into a crowded exchange.

Core mechanics

Bloody Shower

Use Bloody Shower when the target is travelling through a predictable lane. The goal is to establish a useful Bleed state while Roxy still has space to move, not to stay close after the line has done its job.

Crimson Spiral

Crimson Spiral gives Roxy another way to keep pressure organised around the same lane. Use it when the target has not yet crossed into the teammate's reaction window, then make the next tag instead of turning the setup into a long solo turn.

Bleed handoff

Bleed matters most when someone on the team is ready to answer it. Before Roxy enters, decide whether the next job is Theresia's control, Castella's Stun, or Lute's safer recovery turn.

  1. Take a side angle that keeps both the target and Roxy's exit lane visible.
  2. Use Bloody Shower or Crimson Spiral to place Bleed through the target's path.
  3. Move as the target closes instead of waiting to be forced out of position.
  4. Tag when a Bleed or Stun reaction becomes available for the next hero.
  5. Return to Roxy only when the line is clear enough to refresh the setup.

Team roles

Roxy-Theresia-Castella Bleed control

Roxy opens a safe Bleed lane, Theresia keeps the status route readable, Castella uses Stun to create the control handoff, and Roxy returns when the target is back in a clean line.

Roxy-Theresia-Lute safer Bleed rotation

Roxy starts with Bleed from a side lane, Theresia holds the status route together, Lute takes the recovery handoff when the team needs safety, and Roxy resumes only after the group has room again.

Strengths

  • Creates Bleed pressure without asking the player to remain in close danger.
  • Gives the team a readable lane for a reactive tag.
  • Rewards early movement and clean spacing during busy encounters.

Weaknesses

  • Loses value when no teammate can answer the Bleed state.
  • A blocked or crowded lane makes the setup hard to use cleanly.
  • Staying in place too long can turn safe range into unnecessary danger.

Common mistakes

  1. Treating Roxy as a stationary turret after the Bleed line is already set.
  2. Walking forward into close danger instead of maintaining the lane.
  3. Pairing her with no teammate ready to react to Bleed or Stun.
  4. Refreshing pressure after the target has left the useful angle.

How to unlock Roxy

If Roxy is locked in your current roster, use the general Fate's Invitation and Exchange path. Check the current in-game Exchange list before spending, because this is general unlock guidance rather than a character-specific eligibility promise. The character unlock guide explains the flow.
