Charlotte Guide: Mobile Aerial Rotation, Stealth, and Teams

Learn Charlotte's mobile clone, stealth, Poison, Airborne, and Knockdown loop, plus safe handoffs for her execution-heavy DragonSword Awakening team.

Quick answer

Best for players who enjoy fast, execution-heavy ground-to-air routes. Charlotte is a mobile, execution-heavy aerial field driver: use clone and stealth pressure to approach, connect Poison or Airborne, and leave before the route becomes unsafe.

Who should play Charlotte

Pick Charlotte if you enjoy active movement, frequent switches, and ground-to-air pressure. She rewards players who can watch the target, camera, and next teammate input at the same time.

She is less comfortable if you want a slow ranged plan or one repeatable string against every enemy. Her safer rhythm changes when a target resists launch or the camera stops showing the next attack clearly.

Quick playstyle

Start with a short clone or stealth approach, apply the status that fits the current opening, and use Airborne only while the target remains readable. Knockdown gives the team a clean way to end the aerial phase.

Treat every extension as a new decision. Continue when the target can still be controlled; switch or reset when launch resistance, hazards, or camera tracking make another aerial input unsafe.

Core mechanics

Clone and stealth pressure

Charlotte can leave a clone as she enters stealth. Use that change in position to approach or redirect pressure, then judge the next action from the target's actual state.

Poison

Poison gives Charlotte a status route that does not require the target to remain in the air. It is the practical choice when an aerial extension is not available or not safe.

Airborne and Knockdown

Airborne starts the vertical phase. Knockdown brings the target back to the ground and creates a readable point to hand the fight to another hero.

  1. Approach with a short clone or stealth sequence while keeping the target and next attack visible.
  2. Apply Poison for grounded pressure or Airborne when the target can be launched safely.
  3. Continue only while the camera, target state, and teammate input remain readable.
  4. Use Knockdown or the available teammate input to end the aerial phase.
  5. Hand the target to the next hero, then return after the team restores a safe position.

Team roles

Charlotte-Johnny-Reina launchable-target pattern

Charlotte drives the launchable-target pressure, Johnny returns the sequence to the ground, Reina restores a safe position, and the team then returns to Charlotte for the next readable opening.

Charlotte-Johnny-Reina grounded-reset pattern

Charlotte stops the long aerial route when launch or camera tracking becomes unsafe, Johnny supplies the shorter grounded continuation, Reina crosses back to a safe lane, and the trio returns to Charlotte only after the reset.

Strengths

  • Moves between grounded status pressure and aerial control.
  • Can use Poison when a launch route is unavailable.
  • Gives a practiced team a clear field driver for frequent switches.

Weaknesses

  • Aerial pressure becomes risky when the target resists launch.
  • Fast movement and camera changes raise the execution burden.
  • Extending one input too far can miss the safer teammate handoff.

Common mistakes

  1. Extending the aerial route after the target begins resisting launch.
  2. Using stealth as a reason to ignore the next visible attack.
  3. Forcing Airborne when Poison offers a safer grounded route.
  4. Staying on Charlotte after Johnny or Reina has the cleaner continuation.

How to unlock Charlotte

If Charlotte is locked in your current roster, use the general Fate's Invitation and Exchange path. Check the current in-game Exchange list before spending, because this is general unlock guidance rather than a character-specific eligibility promise. The character unlock guide explains the flow.
